Since this year, we have been members of the Society for the Development of Public Lighting. The association connects various entities in the field of public lighting, be it a scientific community, manufacturers, ministries, municipalities, together with the development and trends in this field.
The 54th conference we participated in in Brno dealt with the reduction of light pollution, especially the topics of finding the optimal temperature of the chromaticity of public lighting luminaires while maintaining a satisfactory index of colour rendering and the optimal percentage of the blue component in light. We continue to deal with the issue. The result will be the creation of a standard that ensures as little as possible at night of unwanted (unnatural) blue light while maintaining effective luminosity values that luminaires manufacturers will follow.
Part of the conference was a visit to Brno Communications and their central technical dispatching.
